Who we are

Linenzo for E-Commerce Trading (LLC), Building 152, El-Orouba Street, Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt ("Linenzo", "we", "us") is responsible for the personal data collected through Linenzo.net. We process personal data in accordance with the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and, for customers in the European Union and the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Information we collect

Order details: your name, phone number, delivery address, email address, and size preferences, provided when you place an order.
Payment information: the payment method you choose. We do not collect or store card details. When you pay by Instapay or bank transfer, we may receive the transfer confirmation and the name of the account holder.
Communications: the content of your messages to us by WhatsApp, email, phone, or our contact form.
Usage data: information about your device and how you use our website, collected through cookies and the tracking tools described below.

How we use your information

To process, deliver, and support your orders, including payments, exchanges, and refunds.
To send you order confirmations and shipping updates, including your tracking number, by email.
To answer your questions and provide customer service.
To send you marketing communications. If you place an order, we may send you news, offers, and updates about Linenzo by email and WhatsApp. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by messaging us on WhatsApp.
To understand how our website is used and to improve our products and services.
To prevent fraud, protect our rights, and comply with our legal obligations.

Legal basis (customers in the EU and UK)

We rely on the performance of our contract with you (to fulfil orders), our legitimate interests (to improve our store, prevent fraud, and market our products to existing customers), your consent (where required for cookies and marketing), and compliance with our legal obligations.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

Shopify, the platform that hosts our store and processes order data on our behalf;
our delivery partners — Bosta, our own delivery team, and our international courier — who receive your name, phone number, and address to deliver your order;
providers of the analytics, advertising, and marketing tools we use: Meta (Facebook Pixel), Google (Google Analytics), Shopify Email, and our WhatsApp marketing tool;
public authorities or courts where we are legally required to do so.

Cookies and tracking tools

Our website uses:

essential cookies set by Shopify, which are needed for the store, cart, and checkout to function;
Google Analytics, which helps us understand how visitors use our website;
Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which helps us measure our advertising and show you relevant ads on Meta platforms.

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the website from working.

How long we keep your information

We keep your order and contact details for one year after your most recent order for customer-service purposes. Records that we are legally required to keep, such as invoices and accounting records, are retained for the period required by Egyptian law and then deleted.

International transfers

Our store data is stored on servers operated by Shopify and by our other service providers, which may be located outside Egypt, including in North America and Europe. We take reasonable steps to ensure that your data remains protected when it is transferred.

Your rights

You have the right to:

access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
correct inaccurate data;
request the deletion of your data, unless we are legally required to keep it;
object to the use of your data for marketing at any time;
withdraw your consent where processing is based on consent;
(customers in the EU and UK) restrict processing, request data portability, and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Children

Our website is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page together with its effective date.
